A job is a folder pair (left/right) together with its settings (mode, options). You can manage several jobs side by side — up to 5 — and save them together as a project.
3.1 Creating a new job
Click Create new job (the icon in the job bar).
In the “Create new job” dialog, enter a name under “Name job”.
Confirm with Create.
ℹ️ Unique names
If a job with the same name already exists, the app reports “Duplicate job name” and asks for a different one.

3.2 Switching, renaming and arranging jobs
Each job appears as its own tab. The tabs handle everything to do with your jobs — directly with the mouse:

ℹ️ Order by drag & drop
While a tab is dragged, a semi-transparent preview (ghost) follows the mouse and an insertion line shows where the job will land. That is how you put your jobs in the order you want.
💡 Unique names when renaming too
As when creating a job, SynQaiPro also rejects an already used name when renaming — so every job keeps a unique name.

3.3 The JobWorker mode
As soon as there is more than one job, the JobWorker takes over batch processing: analysis and synchronisation then run strictly one after another via its own “JobWorker” tab. It works through the jobs in sequence and shows the progress, for example “Synchronising 2/5: …”.
ℹ️ Every job brings its own pace
In batch mode every job is measured individually, right before its turn — and within a job even each drive separately, with the slower one setting the pace. Four jobs with four different disks therefore get four different settings without you doing anything. For the same reason the copy streams control is locked in the JobWorker tab: the JobWorker does not copy itself but hands each job to its individual job — a value set here would have no effect. If you want to override the automatic setting for a particular disk, set the factor in the respective job; the batch takes it from there.
⚠️ Conflict protection
The JobWorker recognises dangerous constellations: if the target of one job is at the same time the source of another, synchronisation is blocked (“⛔ Conflict … — synchronisation blocked (adjust paths/modes)”) to prevent data loss.
Where the errors of a batch run appear
Every job keeps its own log — the details of a failed copy therefore appear in the tab of the job concerned, not in the JobWorker tab. So that a batch run does not look more harmless than it was, the JobWorker reports after every job whether something went wrong: “⚠ Job “Photos”: 3 errors — details in that job’s log”. At the end you get the balance instead of a plain completion notice: “5 jobs synchronised · 3 errors in 1 job”. If everything went smoothly it stays at “5 jobs synchronised”.
💡 The log file knows everything
Independently of that, SynQaiPro writes all messages from all jobs into the same log file — each line prefixed with the name of its job. Anyone wanting to review a batch run afterwards finds the complete sequence there in one place.
ℹ️ No retry button in batch mode
The retry button ↻ for failed copies (see chapter 4.5) is reserved for single-job operation. While JobWorker mode is running it is nowhere to be seen — neither in the JobWorker tab nor in the tabs of the individual jobs. If files are left over after a batch run, take the usual route: start the analysis again and let the sync run a second time. That pass then only covers the outstanding files.

3.4 Saving and loading a project
Use 💾 Save project to store the entire configuration in a .syncpro file: all jobs with paths and settings as well as cloud sync status, theme and language. 📂 Load project brings a saved project file back.
⚠️ Loading replaces the current session
Loading a project replaces all currently loaded jobs. Save your current state first if you need it.
💡 What else is saved
For each job a slim selection template is saved along with it (unticked paths and the mode). On loading, SynQaiPro analyses afresh and applies your saved selection to the current state — so deliberate selection decisions are preserved.
