Playback
The Now Playing area shows the current track large with its cover, a visualization in the centre, the transport bar at the bottom and the queue at the side.
5.1 The transport bar

🎧 Why 100 % volume means “bit-perfect”
Any volume change below 100 % digitally scales the signal down and thereby alters the bits. Only at full volume does MuSéa pass the data stream untouched to the output device. Then preferably adjust the volume on the amplifier or DAC.
5.2 The signal badge
Below the track it shows the state the output path is in:

| Bit-Perfect | The stream is output unchanged — ideal |
| DSD (DoP) | DSD via DoP, bit-exact (MHz value) |
| Resampling | Exactly upsampled to a higher rate |
| Shared | Via the Windows mixer — not bit-perfect |
| DSP mode | EQ, Aura or convolution active — the path is deliberately no longer bit-perfect |
5.3 Queue
The PLAY QUEUE list shows the upcoming tracks; the current one is highlighted. Tracks land here via Add to queue, by double-click or via the context menus of the library and the playlists.
