Licence & activation

MuSéa licences are bound to your PC’s hardware ID. The Licence Center shows your licence status, the hardware binding and performs a move to a new PC.

15.1 Understanding the status

It shows the licence type (full version, subscription, evaluation), status (active and valid / expired / not valid) and the hardware binding. If the hardware ID stored in the licence and the current one match, the licence runs on the intended machine.

15.2 Moving to a new PC

On the old PC: in the Licence Center Generate confirmation code and note the code.
On the new PC: install MuSéa, copy Musea.v3lic into the program directory, note the hardware ID shown there.
On locomeosoft.com/musea enter both values → receive the reactivation code.
On the new PC: enter the reactivation code in step 2 and choose Activate licence.

ℹ️ The licence file stays unchanged

During the move Musea.v3lic itself is not changed; only the hardware binding migrates. In case of a hardware defect without the option to release, contact support.

The About Musea dialog names the version, vendor (LocomeoSoft · Doreen Bauermann), contact and legal notices as well as the open-source third-party components used (NAudio, WPF-UI, CommunityToolkit.Mvvm, Microsoft.Data.Sqlite, SQLitePCLRaw, SQLite).
