The window at a glance
MergeQaiPro gets by with a single screen: the header bar at the top, below it the tabs with the open comparisons.
2.1 The header bar

2.2 Tabs: several comparisons side by side
Every comparison gets its own tab. So you can keep a folder overview open and compare several files from that overview alongside it. A tab closes via its ✕ or with Ctrl+W. Once all tabs are closed, the start page reappears.
⚠️ Unsaved changes hold the tab back
If you have taken over blocks in a comparison and not saved them yet, MergeQaiPro asks when closing: “… contains unsaved changes. Yes = save · No = discard · Cancel = back”. The same happens when switching the view (text/image/binary).
2.3 Three views of the same file
Above the comparison sits the View: switch with three options. It lets you look at the same two files from three angles — without choosing them again:

ℹ️ The program picks the right view itself
When opening, MergeQaiPro decides from the file type which view makes sense — the image comparison for two PNG files, the text comparison for source code. You can switch at any time; the switch always stays available.
